In this paper, Cascade PI Controller-Based Robust Model Reference Adaptive Control (MRAC) of a DC-DC boost converter is presented. Non-minimum phase behaviour the due to right half plane zero constitutes challenge and its non-linear dynamics complicate control process while operating in continuous conduction mode (CCM). The proposed scheme efficiently resolved complications challenges by using features cascade loop combination with properties MRAC. accuracy system’s ability track desired signals regulate plant variables most beneficial optimised way without delay overshoot verified MATLAB/Simulink applying comparative analysis single controllers. Moreover, performance validated experimentally implementation MATLAB/Simulink/Stateflow on dSPACE Real-time-interface (RTI) 1007 processor, DS2004 High-Speed A/D CP4002 Timing Digital I/O boards. experimental results reveal that strategy enhanced tracking speed two times considerably improved disturbance rejection.
